An apple a day keeps the blues away.
With all of the new apples in my life I thought I better start a page to "remember" everything I am learning.
iPhone
In March a few more apples entered my life as my husband and I both bought IPhones! So far, so good. My goal is to learn how to skype and voice call with my phone. I also want to learn how to use the row mote app instead of a clicker.
iPad
Alright...so it has been awhile since I have posted anything and I think I will share some tribulations with my iPad as well as the old Mac Doug has loaned me. First off the iPad is super fun and engaging. On my last trip I decided I would take only the iPad rather than both that and my laptop and this is where I learned limitations of:
- I could not format documents-I should have known this but it slipped my mind. I need to see if there is an app to work with office documents.
- I can't look at my sent box in email. So, as ditzy as I am I need to know if I sent an email or if I imagined it.
- Our iPad only has Wi-Fi (because the the 3G service is spotty in MT) and therefore I was confined to my room to use the Internet
- In the notes on the iPad I can't draw or tab
- Also...I am an avid lotion user and this makes using the iPad icky
- Reading books on the iPad is going to take some getting use to as I kept closing the pages and going to the index on accident
